Delta State Baseball inks Jones County Junior College's Tyler Gardner

CLEVELAND - Delta State University head baseball coach Mike Kinnison continued the successful fall signing period on Wednesday with the addition of Jones County Junior College outfielder Tyler Gardner. Gardner signed his national letter of intent to play for the Statesmen last week.
The former West Jones High School standout batted
.352 with eight doubles, two triples, three home runs and 45 RBIs last season as a freshman for former Statesmen great and JCJC head coach Christian Ostrander.
The speedster also swiped 21 bases for the Bobcats.
