CLEVELAND - As the Statesmen Soccer team prepared all week to host Gulf South Conference rival Christian Brothers Sunday, it appears the only winner will be "Mother Nature."  After receiving nearly seven inches of rain this week, according to the National Weather Service, Delta Field is in no condition to host intercollegiate soccer action.  For this reason, the game has been canceled.  No make-up date has been announced at this time. 

The Statesmen will return to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Belhaven College.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Jackson.
