Eric Patten
Assistant Coach

Eric Patten begins his second season as an assistant coach on Mike Kinnison's staff at Delta State University.

Patten, a former four-time All-Gulf South Conference selection at shortstop, will work with the infield and other duties as assigned by coach Kinnison.

Patten was an integral part of Delta State's 2004 NCAA National Championship team. He ranks in the top five all-time in games played, runs scored and assists.

The Cedar Hill, Texas native graduated from Delta State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Patten recently completed his master's degree in Sports Management.

He is married to the former Leslie Pourciau of Denham Springs, La., and they have one daughter, Reese.
