Parking for People with Disabilities
Football
Delta State University provides a limited number of parking spaces for people with disabilities. For people who use a wheelchair, accessible parking is located on the West side of Travis E. Parker Field at Horace McCool Stadium. To access this area, persons must enter on Westminster Avenue. All other parking for people with disabilities is located on the West side of the stadium adjacent to Lot 1 and Lot 2.
Basketball
Disability parking is available at the front of Walter Sillers Coliseum for all Statesmen and Lady Statesmen home basketball events. To access these parking spaces you must have your state-issued "Disability Parking Decal."
Know the Law
Please note that it is a Class B misdemeanor to use a disability parking permit unless the person to whom the permit is issued is in the vehicle. State laws will be enforced. Class B misdemeanors are punishable by a fine of $50-$200 and up to 40 hours of community service.
