Day Two Final Results
CANTON, OHIO - The Delta State Swimming Statesmen and Lady Statesmen continued to have a good nationals run at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio. The Statesmen held their spot at 15th and the Lady Statesmen jumped four spots to 23rd overall after the second day of competition.
For the Lady Statesmen senior
Amanda Guidry swam the 100 Yard Butterfly in 56.65, which was good enough for tenth in the event. Last year, Guidry finished fourth in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 55.44. That time this year would have grabbed third place. Junior
Alyce Meador finished 16th in the 100 Butterfly as well, with a time of 57.96.

Stormi Valentine finished 22nd in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
As for the Statesmen, freshman
Adam Dajka continues to be a pleasant addition to the Green and White this season. Finishing in 1:39.69, Dajka touched the wall with the fourth fastest time in the 200 Yard Freestyle.

Justin Ingvoldstad to finish 13th in the 400 Yard Medley Relay. Ingvoldstad as well as his younger brother Stephen Ingvolstad,
Adam Milecz and
Deniz Guner took 14th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, finishing in 1:24.21.
The Lady Statesmen and Statesmen will look to gain more ground on the Drury Panthers, who have a big lead on both the men's and women's sides of the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.
