Season opener for Lady Statesmen Tennis rescheduled

CLEVELAND - Rain has been the biggest nemesis for outdoor sports in the south so far this year and "Mother Nature" won out again on Thursday forcing the Delta State Lady Statesmen Tennis team to reschedule their season opener at Louisiana-Monroe.
The match, originally scheduled for Feb. 4 at 1 p.m., has been moved to March 5 at noon on the campus of the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
The Lady Statesmen will officially open the season on Feb. 13 at Christian Brothers University in Memphis.
