Statesmen Football to host Signing Day party

CLEVELAND - With National Signing Day set for Wednesday, Feb. 3 and expectations riding high, Delta State University head football coach Ron Roberts announced plans on Thursday to host a Signing Day event Friday, Feb 5 at Hey Joe's in the historic Warehouse District downtown. The event will kickoff at 6 p.m.
"We're excited about the class our coaches have worked hard on these last few months and I believe we're going to sign one of the top groups in NCAA Division II," stated Roberts. "Our coaches enjoy the opportunity to meet and greet the fans and community and we hope to see you all at Hey Joe's next Friday."
Friday's event will feature highlights from selected recruits and a position-by-position breakdown of the 2010 signing class.
On Wednesday, GoStatesmen.com will provide hour-by-hour updates as signings roll into the Chadwick-Dickson Athletic Fieldhouse.
