Horstmann named to All-GSC Second Team

CLEVELAND – Senior striker David Horstmann was honored by the men’s soccer coaches in the Gulf South Conference by being named to the All-GSC Second Team, which was released Wednesday.

Horstmann, a senior out of Rossville, Tenn., led the conference in scoring with 10 goals, marking the second consecutive year in which registered 10 tallies.

For the season, Horstmann registered 10 goals and four assists for a total of 24 points. He had netted a shooting percentage of .286, while 57 percent of his shots on goal resulted in scores.

Horstmann finished his career as the all-time leading scorer in Delta State men’s soccer history, with 32 goals scored in 67 games played.
