Complete Daktronics Super Region Two Release

CLEVELAND - For a third consecutive year, Delta State University senior All-American linebacker Lardester Hicks-Green has been named to the Daktronics All-Super Region Two First Team, as released by Daktronics on Wednesday.  Joining Hicks-Green on the All-Region Team is senior offensive lineman Brad Latham, who was a Second Team selection.  

Hicks-Green, a 6-foot-1, 235 pound Chicago, Ill., native, led the Statesmen in tackles for a second-straight year with 94 stops.  The 2008 Super Region Two Defensive Player of the Year and First Team selection also tallied 15.0 tackles-for-loss and 4.5 sacks.  As a sophomore in 2007, the hard-hitting middle linebacker was named to the Second Team.  

Latham, a 6-foot-4, 305 pound senior from Tuscaloosa, Ala., earned his first career honor, after being named to the All-Gulf South Conference Team last week.  The four-year starter at right tackle and left guard, graded at 90-percent or better in every game for the Statesmen (5-5) and ranked among the team leaders in knockdown and pancake blocks.
