Rains wash out Lady Statesmen and Statesmen at Faulkner
Rain, Rain, Go Away...DSU at Faulkner cancelled.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Torrential rain and high winds in southwest Alabama over the weekend forced the cancellation Monday of Delta State University's soccer doubleheader at Faulkner University on Monday. No make-up dates are planned at this time.
"Faulkner's coaches called on Sunday and said the fields were just too wet to play. With both teams still in the hunt for postseason play, we certainly don't won't to risk injury," added Jim Allen, DSU head coach.
Both teams return to action on Friday, Oct. 9 at Harding University. Kickoff for the women's tilt is set for 5 p.m., while the men play at 7 p.m.
