DOVER, Fla. – The Delta State Lady Statesmen competed at the NCAA South Regional Cross Country meet on Saturday, finishing 13th out of 14 teams at the event hosted by the University of Tampa.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - On those cold, brisk fall mornings when the Lady Statesmen Cross Country team has been forced to brave the elements at competitions across the southeast, mind has triumphed over matter. Thanks to a recent donation to the program, the Lady Statesmen no longer have to battle the elements and the opposition.

Delta State senior runner Kristin Williams recorded a time of 20 minutes, 37.90 seconds to finish 24th at the 2009 Gulf South Conference cross country meet Saturday.
